1. Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and add fettuccine. Cook fettuccine until just
al dente.
2. In a pan
sauté sliced onion and garlic in butter till transparent.
3. Add diced chicken and bacon, cook till tender.
4. Add a dash of white wine and simmer.
5. Add chicken stock and reduce by half.
6. Add cream and season to taste. Add basil just before serving.
7. Combine fettuccine and carbonara and toss thoroughly. Serve with fresh grated parmesan.
